Interesting NIH study about pets as companions

I found an interesting article about human and animal bonding. The article states that having a pet can be good for your health. Studies have shown that pets can reduce blood pressure, provide calmness, and offer social support. If you would like to read the article you can get it here.

For those of you who are missing the eye-candy, I will be posting a new card later this evening.

Some hospitals bring in therapy dogs to help brighten patient's moods. It is really special how something so furry can change a person's life. We have 5 dogs and they improve our lives for sure. They are members of the family.

To answer your question, the Botox can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months, but he said if it works, most people don't want to risk it wearing off so they go every 3 months. Thanks for your kind words and great question. I'm going to put up a Q&A on my blog so if others have questions I will answer them. I saw you are going to be an RN (in your profile) how much training do you have left? I am a pre-med student right now :) What got you into medicine?
