Sweepie's 3rd Birthday

Sweepie is turning 3 tomorrow! She is such a delightful (and mischievous) little girl. Sweepie is into fairies now and likes Tinkerbell and Abbie Cadabbie from Sesame Street so I made a little fairy for her card. The sketch is from this week's Mojo Monday sketch and the colors are from SCS Color Challenge 104.

Recipe:

Stamps: Lily - PCS, Circular Sayings - Verve
Paper: Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose, WW, SU DSP
Ink: Stazon Black, Distress Ink Shabby Shutters, Worn Lipstick, and Scattered Straw
Accessories: Cuttlebug, Embossing Folders, Nestabilities, Sizzix Die, Paper Piercer, Stickles, Crayola Colored Pencils, Goo-Gone, Stick on Gems

Sweepie's 2nd Birthday

My little niece Sweepie turns 2 this week. This is the card I made for her. I know it is not really a little kid's style, but Sweepie likes all of my other cards so I made this one for her. I chose the colors based on the ribbon and used the sketch from Viva la Verve March Week 3.

Recipe:
Stamps: Lily & Friends - Pink Cat Studio
Paper: Cameo Coral, Cool Caribbean, Wild Wasabi, WW, SU DP
Ink: Stazon Black, Cool Caribean
Accessories: Colored Pencils, Goo Gone, Cuttlebug, Embossing Folder, Flower Punches, Oval Punches, Stickles, Ribbon

Sweepie & Friends

This set is really called "Lily and Friends" but Lily reminds me so much of my little niece Sweepie. Sweepie loves to wear pink and even got a pink dressy coat and matching pink hat and mitten set for Christmas. I colored the image with colored pencils and Goo-Gone (my favorite method of coloring), and added some sparkle with pink glitter EP and different colors of stickles. Again I shaded the background with chalks and a cotton ball.
